About the 61st Annual Meeting
We would like to personally invite you to attend the 2016 Ohio Chapter, American College of Surgeons Annual Meeting at the Embassy Suites Columbus Airport.
One of the goals of the Ohio Chapter, ACS is to provide you with pertinent, useful, and timely information in a meeting format that respects your busy schedule and at the same time provide you with an opportunity to interact with other Ohio colleagues whom you might see just once a year.
This is one of the Ohio Chapter’s most important events of the year, and our goal is to have all of our members participate. That is why all of the events and sessions are at an affordable registration fee for Ohio Chapter Fellow members to attend. Please join us
Accreditation
The American College of Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
CME Credit
Ten (10) CME Credit Hours have been approved by the American College of Surgeons for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Maintenance of Certification
This activity includes a self-assessment component.
Learning Objective
The program is designed for surgeons. It is meant to provide an update regarding critical issues in general surgery and related disciplines of surgery with application to daily practice and to enhance the knowledge of the participants in these areas.

Fixed meeting expenses will be paid from the pre-registration funds. Remaining funds will be refunded to pre-registrants. Reservations Deadline: April 7, 2016
The Ohio Chapter, ACS has a block of rooms from May 5, 2016 to May 6, 2016 at a discounted group rate of $139 plus tax per night for single/double occupancy. Sleeping rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and reservations must be made by April 15, 2016 to receive the Ohio Chapter, ACS discounted room rate.
The Ohio Chapter, ACS has committed to a block of sleeping rooms for this event. If you make the decision to stay at another property, not only is it less convenient for you, but it also may negatively affect the Ohio Chapter financially. We encourage you to reserve your room at the headquarters hotel and to continue to support your professional association.

Short North Dinner and Exploration
Join your fellow attendees for dinner and an exploration of Columbus’ Historic Short North District. The evening will start with transportation from the hotel to the Level Dining Lounge where you will enjoy a dinner in this highly rated restaurant. Once dinner is complete you will have plenty of time to explore this very arts-rich district. Maps and information from the Short North Council will be provided to assist your exploration of the many things to do. Transportation back to the hotel will continue until 10:00 pm.
